Janine founded By Peaceful Waters in 2000, through her private practice, with a heart to serve rural and underserviced communities with qualified, professional Christian therapy. Since then, she has welcomed therapists and additional support staff to expand the reach of BPW services across Ontario and internationally.
With over 40 years of experience in the field, Janine brings a wealth of knowledge, discernment and wisdom to her oversight as Director of Therapeutic Services.
Annette Katchaluba

Executive Director
Director of Child-Centred Divorce and Services and Mediation
Registered Social Worker
Annette founded the Mediation branch of By Peaceful Waters which includes Corporate, Business, Workplace, School, and Family Mediation, as well as Child Centred Divorce Services. “It’s about more than ‘good agreements.’ It is about improved long-term outcomes, reducing conflict and prioritizing people.”
With over 20 years of experience in Social Work, Annette’s approach is informed by her professional training as a therapist for children, individuals, couples, and families. She has also served on the panel for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer and works with collaborative family law teams as a family professional.
Ryan Rutledge

Clinical Director
Registered Social Worker
In his role as Clinical Director, Ryan oversees and develops the organizational structure of By Peaceful Waters, including staffing, team development, policies and procedures, and setting the vision for strategic growth. He fosters relationship with partner locations, subsidizing and MemberCare+ Churches and businesses pursuing EAP.
No matter what particular duty he is fulfilling, his love and appreciation for people is the pulse of his work. “It is a tremendous privilege to work with our partners so that together we can bring hope and healing to many people in our communities.”
Tara Boyce

Clinical Supervisor
Registered Social Worker
Tara has over 20 years of experience in social work, having worked in various roles such as Family Service Worker, Clinical Investigator at the OCL and Youth Support Worker. As a therapist, Tara has worked with all ages, including adults and seniors, couples, families, children, and teens.
As Clinical Supervisor, Tara provides supervision of our therapists, ensuring professional accountability and the highest care for clients. “My passion is to empower our therapists to lean into their gifts, experiences and ongoing training and education, so that they are confident to bring their unique expression of therapeutic work to their clients.”

She is the anchor to our internal operations as an agency, supporting our team by bringing structure and stability, ensuring that all the daily administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Bianca Azzoparde
Intake, Office Manager, Administrative Assistant
Whether it is managing the details of office administration or welcoming clients at the front desk, Bianca keeps people at the heart of her work.
Bianca listens with a careful and compassionate ear during intake discussions in order to connect you to our therapeutic team. She can also help to answer any questions or concerns you have regarding the intake process, upcoming groups and workshops or applying to New Life Charity.
Audra Noble
Intake, Administrative Assistant, Graphic Designer
Audra supports clients through the intake process, answers questions and welcomes people at our main office in Waterloo. Her calm and unhurried demeanor, resourcefulness and organized approach brings a sense of peace to the space and to all who enter.
Her 20+ years of training and experience in design and her natural eye for detail, also make Audra an invaluable member of our Marketing team.
